I was looking for a road bike for a long time that was a descent price and fit me well. I am 5 foot 2 and bought the 17 inch frame bike. I was a little worried about putting it together since it was not assembled. I waited for my husband to get home to help me and it ends up that it wasn't necessary. It only took us about 10 minutes to get it put together. I just had to try it out a couple times to get everything adjusted properly. I use it all the time and hook it up to a trainer in the winter for exercise. Its a good weight for the price to. I purchased the 15 inch frame and it fits perfectly. The bike is very smooth riding - the gear shift works great. Very quiet, good looking, and enjoyable to ride. So glad I decided to get the smaller frame. I'm sure the larger one would have been too big for me. This is perfect for someone with the same body type as me. I went to a local bike shop and was told that the smallest size Raleigh Capri II would be the right fit/size for me. I compared the specifications and the 15 inch frame bike matched the closest - and is the reason I chose it over the larger frame. |
