Let me start off by saying that I bought this bike from a local dealer so I can't comment on aspects of Amazon's sale and delivery process. My comments are limited to the bike. I do a lot of biking when the weather permits. I bike several miles to a grocery store quite frequently and almost all the other stores I go to are several miles away. I can pedal along tirelessly on this bike for hours. It's very comfortable. One complaint (which won't affect the stars) is a personal one. The bike, while attractive, is a little fancy with its decorative graphics and curved, sculpted tubing. I would have preferred normal straight round tubes like my last bike had. None of that affects the ride, though. For about $400 bucks, it's about as good as it gets. ADDENDUM: Having lived with the bike a little longer, I should let you know something in advance of your putchase: the handlebars are a bit nonstandard. They are of standard diameter near the grips but get thicker as... It lightweight but has a real solid feel. It glides down the road with little effort and is easy to control. Compared to my old bike, my speed went up by several mph without any change in effort.The bike came mostly assembled. I had to install the front wheel, the handle bars, the pedals and connect the front breaks. It took less than 30 minutes. It wasn't that hard and I was soon taking it for a test spin.
